Imagine, in one single environment, all the resources that schools, teachers and students need to teach and learn our language.
For a long time, our language was not taught in schools, and there was a lack of available educational resources and teaching tools.
NU PAPIA was created out of the recognition that a language is truly valued when it is taught using effective methods, appropriate materials and ongoing support.
This platform provides student textbooks, dictionaries, grammar resources and other materials to support the learning process. It includes exercises with automatic marking, providing teachers with diagnostic information and helping them identify the topics in which each class needs additional support.
It is an educational and cultural project that aims to strengthen Cape Verde’s linguistic identity by improving the conditions for teaching our language.
